Adams State’s tuition window saves students money and time

Adams State University encourages students to enroll in as many credit hours per semester as possible. "We want to be sure students are on a path to success and taking full advantage of Adams State’s tuition window," said Karla Hardesty, director of Enrollment Management and Marketing.

Full-time, on-campus students have a flat rate for tuition and fees for 12 to 20 credits each semester (except course specific fees). "Studies show that students enrolled at higher levels, 14 to 17 credit range, have higher achievement rates and GPAs," Hardesty added. To finish a bachelor’s degree in four years, students should average at least 15 credits per semester.

Students currently enrolled in classes for the fall 2016 semester still have time to add additional credit hours. "Get further ahead with your degree and register for as many courses as you can this fall," Hardesty said. "Students who take more credit hours per semester graduate sooner, which mean less debt." Classes start August 22.
