ASU Counselor Education presents TEAMS symposium

The Adams State University Counselor Education Department in partnership with SLV Behavioral Health Group, the SLV Joint Interagency Oversight Group and Tu Casa presents "Trauma Experiences and Management Strategies (TEAMS)" an all-day symposium, on Wednesday, March 15, in the Adams State Student Union Building.

Come spend the day with us as we explore all the many aspects of Trauma and Crisis and discuss how our community is prepared to manage crises. This event is meant to help educate our counselors, teachers, and community members on emergency preparedness, crisis response and the aftermath of trauma. Our keynote speakers for the day are Frank DiAngeles and Joel Givens. CEUs will be available to participants.

Sessions will be available via live feed for those unable to attend in person. Registration required for access to live feed. The symposium is free, but space is limited. For more information, contact Dr. Janessa Henninger, assistant professor of counselor education, at 719-587-7224 or janessahenninger@adams.edu.
