Monday, March 12
Release of Resource Guide for Self-Care
Introduction of a Self-Care column in the Graduate Student Success Center’s newsletter
Featuring tips, exercises and event announcements relating to the practice of self care in a holistic approach for Adams State students, staff, faculty, and community

Tuesday, March 13
Safe Spring Break Fair
11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
SUB Banquet Rooms
Chance to win prizes
The ASU Counseling Center hosts tables and activities that promote fun, safe, harm-reduced behavior for student during spring break. Local businesses will provide donation and gift cards.

Wednesday, March 14
Loving Kindness Guided Meditation and Music and Self Care
12 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Graduate Student Success Center
Live sessions will be recorded. If you are interested in attending the taping, please come between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
15 minute guided meditation focusing on loving kindness towards self and others. A mindfulness practice that can promote relaxation, enhance gratitude, and develop compassion
Elizabeth Marino and Angela Richmond will discuss the benefits of adding music to your self-care practice.

Kindred Spirits Luncheon

You Should Never Go Hungry in the SLV: Food Security and Resources
Food resource agents from the San Luis Valley will be available to share information about services their organization provides.
To get lunch, sign in at the main entrance of La Mesa Dining Center, grab your food, and join the presentation/exhibit in the banquet rooms.
Open to students, staff, administration, and faculty.

Friday, March 16
Cooking Matters – Nutrition Coaching Sessions
11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Richardson Hall First Floor Break Room
Through this demonstration, partnering with the SLV Local Foods Coalition, participants will be provided with smarter shopping tips, learn how to use nutrition information to make healthier choices, and cook delicious, affordable meals.
