ASUPD invites community to join the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics

Members of the Adams State University Police Department invite campus and community members to join them in the Polar Plunge to raise funds for Special Olympics Colorado. The Polar Plunge will take place Saturday, February 6, at 11 a.m. at Lake Pueblo.

“We’re freezin’ for a reason, and welcome everyone to join us in taking the plunge for Special Olympics,” said ASU Chief of Police Paul Grohowski, who is coordinating the Adams State team.

Those interested in participating or supporting the plunge through donations may do so by going to the website. The minimum entry fee is $75 for adults, $50 for students. One-hundred percent of funds raised go directly to the Special Olympics athletes and their families.
