During the Adams State July campus update, President David Tandberg, Ph.D., highlighted the recent Board of Trustees approval for pay increases for faculty and staff. “This is an incredible budgetary move by the university as an investment in the people that make this place move in a positive direction, every day of the year,” noted Tandberg. “It’s a cause for immense celebration, especially on the heels of a successful academic year that saw across the board approval by the University’s accreditation organization, the Higher Learning Commission.”

Eight percent (8%) average increases for faculty and exempt staff were approved by the Board in June. This significant increase reflects both cost of living and market salary adjustments. Classified staff will see a base increase of five percent (5%) as directed by the State legislature and in accordance with the negotiated union partnership agreement.

Other news included a report on current enrollment numbers, which includes an increase in total enrollment.
