Share locally grown, non-hybrid seed with your community at the Community Seed Exchange from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, in the Adams State University Nielsen Library.
This is an opportunity to promote the growth and abundance of SLV-hardy plants. Meet your local gardeners; obtain seeds for spring planting; and share what you have with others. There will be some educational displays and demonstrations.
This annual event is co-sponsored by SLV Local Foods Coalition, Valley Educational Gardens Initiative (VEGI), Alamosa Community Greenhouse, and the Seed to Seed Library at Adams State Nielsen Library.
