Beverly DeVore-Wedding, Ph.D., assistant professor in the School of Education, recently had a joint article published in the Wicazo Sa Review titled Emerging Strategies for Indigenizing Science at Tribal Colleges.

Curt L. Howell, M.Ed., assistant professor and program coordinator Outdoor Education and Stewardship, was appointed to the Rocky Mountain Resource Advisory Council for a three-year term. As a member, he will represent developed outdoor recreation interests. The Council advises the Bureau of Land Management in development of balanced decisions that serve the interests of all public land users.

Jenna Neilsen, M.F.A., professor of theatre, is directing the first staging of the play, “Clyt; or, the Bathtub Play.” The production opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, on the SLV Federal Bank Main Stage located in the Theatre Building. The play continues April 30 and May 6 and 7, with a 2 p.m. matinee closing the show on Sunday, May 8. David Gerke, M.F.A., associate professor of theatre, designed the lighting and set.
