The Adams State University 2025 Fall Commencement Ceremony begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, in Plachy Hall. Alamosa Mayor Ty Coleman is the commencement speaker. The title of his address, “The Road Ahead: Embracing Your Journey with Caution, Curiosity, and Courage,” will encourage and inspire the graduates to realize personal and professional goals after college.

Mayor Coleman is the chief operating officer for Community Resources and Housing Development Corporation, where he works to ensure people in rural Colorado have access to safe, quality, and affordable housing.
