Thanks to funding from the Adams State Foundation, the University has implemented a new scholarship management system that will increase the number of scholarships available and awarded to Adams State students.

The new CampusLogic ScholarshipUniverse management system is the first of its kind to offer both the capabilities needed to manage ASU Foundation’s scholarship portfolio and give Adams State students access to over 14,000 vetted scholarships from across the country to help them cover the cost of their education.

Adams State Financial Aid Director Phil Schroeder says the new scholarship system “will open the door to thousands of scholarships our students never had access to before.”

“ScholarshipUniverse will give them access to funding sources outside of the normally accepted federal, state or institutional funds previously seen as the only way to pay for college,” Schroeder said. “It can become a new review source for the institution.”

With Adams State University being the first Colorado institution to implement the system, it should be viewed as a “one-up” on peer institutions in the name of services to Adams State students.

“It can be a game changer for our students as well as for the institution,” Schroeder says.

The system was recently purchased through the generosity and funding from the ASU Foundation, with the desire to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the scholarship program for the benefit of students at Adams State.

Adams State students can access the scholarship database at Adams Scholarships.
