Adams State University will continue Next Fifty Workshops in May. The classes are free for adults over 50.

Linoleum Cut Stamps

Create your own linoleum cut stamps for printing on cloth. Participants will create two designs by carving the images and inking to print a pattern to decorate a hand towel. Bring images or design ideas to transfer into the blocks.

This is the final dance in a semester-long investigation of Africanist dance aesthetics through dance forms central to identity in the Americas and Africa. Come and explore the mythical Fandango dance of greater Mexico, including the American Southwest, and the larger Hispano worlds. This class will discuss and practice Africanist aesthetics of a culturally expressive form central to Hispano ancestral identity.
