The Adams State University Nielsen Library was awarded a $5,000 grant from the Colorado Department of Education. Library Director Kat Parker said the funds will help purchase the EBSCO Education Source database package, which totals approximately $9,000.
“This is a vital resource for our community,” Parker added, noting the database was accessed more than 6,378 times last year. “It is an essential research tool for education students and professional educators.”
EBSCO Education Source is the world’s largest and most comprehensive full-text research database designed for education students, researchers, professionals and policymakers. Coverage spans all levels of education and includes such topics as education ethics, educational technology, literacy, research methodology, and more.
