Register for Summer Session 2016

A full slate of general education courses is available during Adams State University Summer Session 2016, allowing students to get ahead on required coursework. Eric Carpio, assistant vice president for Student Services, said summer financial aid is available to eligible students, including new high school graduates. On-campus housing will also be available at discounted rates during the Summer Session. In addition, non-Colorado resident students are eligible for in-state tuition during the summer.

The Summer Schedule
is available March 1, and registration begins March 28. Adams State’s Fall
Course Schedule will be available by March 7.

General education courses will be offered in June and July, allowing recent high school graduates to get a head start on college. These courses are part of Colorado’s gtPathways program, which guarantees they will transfer into all bachelor’s degree programs at Colorado’s public colleges and universities.
"By attending Summer Session, students can more easily finish their degrees within four years. This saves both time and money," Carpio added.

NEW Guaranteed Tuition

In addition, new students who enroll at Adams State during Summer Session and continue in the fall semester will qualify for a lower Guaranteed Tuition rate than those who wait to begin in the fall.

Adams State’s new Guaranteed Tuition program goes into effect with the fall 2016 semester. It guarantees no tuition increases through the fourth consecutive academic year of enrollment to all undergraduate students enrolled in on-campus classes. Adams State is the first and only institution in Colorado to offer guaranteed tuition to on-campus undergraduates.

Students can also save money through Adams State’s full-time tuition window, which charges a flat rate for 12 to 20 credits a semester. This provides incentive to complete at least 15 credits a semester, which is necessary to graduate within four years.
