Located on the Adams State University campus, the SLV STEAM Shop Maker Space is hosting an open house from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, June 15; and a Soldering Workshop from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22. The SLV STEAM Shop Maker Space is located at 1507 Main St., on the corner of Hwy 160 and Edgemont Blvd. Adams State does not require parking permits on weekends.

The SLV STEAM Shop is a collaborative work space for making, learning, exploring, and sharing ideas. The space is open to children, adults, and entrepreneurs and has a variety of maker equipment to help you transform your ideas into working objects including 3D printers, laser cutters, soldering irons, knitting machines, and more.

Memberships are $8/month for youth (ages 12-18); $10/month for adults, and $8/month for seniors (65+).
