Stand Strong for Orlando Community March is June 19

To demonstrate solidarity and find spiritual comfort together following the tragic events in Orlando, and seeking unity in our diversity, the Adams State University Campus Ministry Office invites the San Luis Valley community to a Circle of Hope and Healing at noon Thursday, June 16, in front of Richardson Hall. This is a multi-faith, non-denominational, spiritually centered gathering.

The community is also invited to participate in the
SLV Standing Strong with Orlando – A Walk to Reflect and Connect starting at
7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 19. The walk will begin in front of the Alamosa Public
Library and ends at the SLV Brew Pub
. Wear
your rainbow clothes, bring your rainbow flags and ribbons, dog kerchiefs, headlamps, and electric candles. Those unable to join the march are
welcome to meet at the Brew Pub at 8:30 p.m. to connect with friends and
neighbors.

The events are free and open to the public.
