Concurrent enrollment San Luis Valley students can now register for the Adams State University Summer Academy and earn six to seven college credits at no cost. The academy begins May 31 with an orientation. Classes begin June 1 and end on June 30, 2022.

High school students who are eligible to take concurrent enrollment courses are eligible for the ASU Summer Academy. All Summer Academy students will receive free tuition, books, lunch in the cafeteria, support in the Writing Center, and access to all Adams State facilities during the summer.

When possible, the program will arrange transportation to and from the Adams State campus.

Academy students will take two classes, one in the morning session and another in the afternoon session. All Summer Academy courses are specially built for the high school students, grades 9 through 12, and are taught by full-time Adams State professors.

Register now to get the classes you want. Classes include geoscience, theatre, business, computer programming, history, and media communications. Students from the Alamosa and Sangre de Cristo School Districts can register now. Students from other SLV districts should work with their high school counselor and principal to determine their eligibility.
