Swim, bike and run your way to health

The
Adams State University Campus Recreation and Wellness Center will have registration forms for the October 15
Sprint Triathlon, a Splashland Hot Springs Swimming Pool Benefit. The sprint
triathlon will begin at 9 a.m. and will include a 3.4 mile run, a 10 mile bike
ride and a 400 yard swim. Cost is $40 for individual and $80 for a team relay.
Awards will be presented to overall male and female and top team finisher.

Jessica Chacon, fitness and wellness
coordinator, said the Adams State Campus Recreation and Wellness Center is pleased to
help sponsor this event. "I think it will be awesome to see Adams State participation."

The
benefit race will raise funds to purchase Splashland Hot Springs Swimming Pool ADA equipment, non-slip
flooring, and a veranda and to raise awareness of healthy lifestyles.
