Lights, camera, action, Adams State University will soon be featured on the popular Amazon series The College Tour.

Alex Boylan
Hosted by Alex Boylan, 2002 winner of the Amazing Race, the episode will showcase the University from the perspective of students.

The action has already begun as Adams State is in pre-production virtual meetings with the crew from The College Tour to prepare for their week on campus June 13 through June 17, 2022.

“Adams State is excited about the possibilities of being on The College Tour,” said President Cheryl D. Lovell. “The show is featured on Amazon and streaming platforms that can be accessed all over the world. I am very pleased with the idea that anyone, anywhere, can learn about this unique campus, our caring atmosphere, and our strong academic departments.”

The first step in this process is a casting call for all current Adams State students. “We are not looking for anyone in particular,” said Bruce Rosengrant, vice president for community engagement and communication. “That’s the beauty of the casting call, you never know who will be chosen to represent Adams State on film.”

Even camera-shy students who have a great story to share about Adams State are welcome to upload a brief, under two minutes, video telling why they would be the perfect student to describe their experience at Adams State. “The College Tour crew is experienced and professional,” Rosengrant added. Once videos are reviewed and ten individuals are selected, they will be coached throughout the process by a TCT team member. Boylan encourages students to submit a video.

Current students interested in answering the call can upload their video. Students chosen will need to be on campus the week of June 13, 2022.

The College Tour is a new series streaming globally on many numerous platforms and channels.
