chemistry student doing an experimentThe STEM Center at Adams State University is dedicated to supporting the academic success of students pursuing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. It’s a common space on campus where students and faculty gather to exchange knowledge and bond as a community in a comfortable, informal environment.

As a complement to classroom learning, The STEM Center provides a variety of resources to facilitate peer learning, including tutoring, group study sessions, and community outreach. Students also have access to other technologies that enhance their abilities to effectively communicate ideas and develop problem-solving skills.

STEM Center Resources

Supporting student success at Adams State, the STEM Center also provides resources, such as graphing calculators, for students to checkout daily. If you are interested in checking out a calculator for day use, stop by the STEM Center (3rd Floor of Porter Hall–319-G). Give yourself extra time when checking out a calculator as there is a short form you will need to complete. Bring your student ID as well. We have a limited supply, so they are checked out on a first come, first serve basis. You can also check out a calculator at the library.
