HS Seniors Scholarship Event
For those seniors considering studying Art, Music, or Theatre, this is an opportunity to meet with Adams State Faculty, learn about scholarships and even audition/interview for scholarships. If you register for this event, you will be contacted with further information.

You will have a chance to see the campus and meet current students and faculty members, as well as meet a lot of new friends.
Costs
The only costs to you are travel and lodging. Adams State will provide lunch for all participants and all materials needed for the workshops.

Theatre
With a state-of-the-art theatre building, innovative productions, and dynamic community outreach, Adams State Theatre is redefining the role of live theatre on a university campus. From the classics to devised works, comedy improv to social justice theatre, our goal is to prepare our students for a lifetime of opportunity while creating exciting and relevant entertainment for our community. Our BA in Theatre and BA in Theatre Education degrees provide students with a demanding, contemporary education in the arts which lays the groundwork for them to pursue a variety of career paths upon graduation. Areas of emphasis include: Design and Technology; Collaborative Creation; Performance; and, History and Literature.
Music
In the Adams State Music Department, we prioritize the knowledge, skills and collaborative experiences needed to be a successful and innovative musician in the 21st century. Our students create dynamic performances that reflect the diversity of musical language, from the classics to the contemporary to music that addresses equity and societal issues. With a state-of-the-art recording studio, beautiful and acoustically exceptional performance spaces, Steinway pianos, outstanding faculty, and small class sizes. We provide students with an inspiring, rigorous, and contemporary education in a beautiful and inclusive setting. Areas of emphasis include: Music Education K-12; Performance; Composition; and, Music Business and Recording.
Art
The Adams State Art Department invites you be part of a multidisciplinary, multicultural, creative community. Our department educates and mentors students to persist in a contemporary career landscape that prioritizes creative thinking and making. Students take a central role in creating our cultural center for multi-sensory, visual arts programming. Our faculty work one-on-one with students to develop and nurture your creative potential, prepare you for a variety of professional paths, and instill a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Areas of emphasis include: Graphic Design; Photography; Painting; Drawing; Ceramics; Sculpture; and, Art Education.

How to get to Arts X
Directions
Adams State University is located in Alamosa, Colorado in the heart of the San Luis Valley. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is only a half-hour away.
Accommodations
