Students desiring to enroll in a Master of Science in Computer Science must have a conferred regionally accredited Bachelor’s Degree (or U.S. equivalent) at the start of the degree program.

Admission Requirements

  1. Complete the online application for admission
  2. Pay the $30 application fee at time of application
  3. Submit supplemental admission document at time of application:
    • Short Essay Question – describing interests, background, the emphasis of interest, current employer, and professional goals. This response will be used to assess eligibility into the program.
  4. Two (2) letters of recommendation. Recommenders will be sent an automatic email to complete this online letter of recommendation submission during time of application. Please have recommenders’ first names, last names, and emails at time of application.
  5. * Send all official transcripts directly from previously attended institutions.

  6. International – Online applicants only: Proof of English proficiency, by completing at least one (1) bulleted requirement.

* Official transcript translation and credential evaluation is required for all international transcripts not in U.S. higher education standards. The Evaluation Company (TEC) (formerly SpanTran) is our recommended international transcript evaluation service. If TEC is not used, official results of course-by-course evaluation which includes cumulative GPA must be completed by an independent credentials evaluation service that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) organization to determine what U.S. equivalencies exist for grades, credit hours, and accreditation.

Documents must be mailed directly from the evaluation agency. All information must be written in English and include the cumulative GPA. Payment for this service is the responsibility of the international student and any reissuing of documentation that does not follow the guidelines above.
