The Grizzly Testing & Learning Center
What is our purpose?
The Grizzly Testing & Learning Center (GTLC) is dedicated to fostering student success by providing testing services and peer tutoring in a low stress environment in an accessible and welcoming space. Students will be supported academically in developing reading, writing and mathematical skills, in addition to other course specific content. This support will acknowledge and value the diverse learners represented at Adams State College.
What are our goals?
GTLC offers a large variety of services in order to support students with their academic success at Adams State College. Here at the GTLC we strive to promote the development of critical academic skills and independent learning through Peer Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction (SI), and Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS).
In addition, we also proctor tests for Extended Studies students, Distance Learning Programs, make-up exams for excused absences, and serve students with documented disabilities.
