ASU Percussion Concert will raise the roof

The artistic director of the Mt. Blanca Summer Music Conservatory, Off returns to the Valley to perform this exciting and extremely challenging work, under the direction of James W. Doyle, D.M.A., associate professor of music and director of the University Percussion Ensemble.

ASU Choir will honor veterans

The program will include selections from Mark Hayes Requiem, Ralph Vaughan Williams Dona Nobis Pacem, Paul Aitken’s setting of John McCrae’s famous poem, “In Flanders Fields,” and readings by John Taylor, Ph.D., Adams State professor of theatre, from the war poetry written by Wilfred Owen, a British soldier who died one week before the signing of the armistice.
