Adams State supports the youth program with a scholarship for its annual youth of the year recipient.

“The health and success of our community, on and off campus, is at the forefront of our decision making,” said Adams State President Cheryl D. Lovell.

A native of the San Luis Valley, Martin Masterson was a 4-time Individual National Champion as an Adams State student.

The University plans on staging the live telethon each February to benefit students attending Adams State.

“I am excited about joining the amazing faculty, staff, and students at Adams State University,” Buchanan said. 

“We are pleased that our elementary education program was one of only five in Colorado recognized with this rating and we believe it accurately reflects the high quality of teacher training we provide at Adams State University,” said Curtis Garcia, Teacher Education Department Chair.

Community members of Alamosa and the San Luis Valley are invited to be part of the live audience inside Richardson Hall Auditorium.

The 2020 rankings are calculated through a unique scoring system which includes student engagement, potential return on investment, and leading third-party evaluations.

The newly named master’s degrees are perfect for prospective students who want to target specific disciplines.

Once cancer survivors are selected, they will be pre-tested and then randomly assigned to an exercise group or control group.
