“At first, small things go awry, then bigger mishaps until the entire production is in shambles, but still, the show goes on as the actors adapt and continue to pretend all is good,” said Dr. Taylor.

“During the holiday season, as we gather as family and friends, what better way to spend time together than laughing and enjoying the silly, over-the-top silly antics in this slapstick comedy,” said Dr. Taylor.

“As someone who learned English as a second language as an adult, I knew it was possible to acquire a second or third language in spite of one’s age.”

“The issues, from the 2010 time period, are handled very carefully and with empathy. The play is about forgiveness and acceptance.”

The Homecoming Parade begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, in downtown Alamosa

“This is not just an event for members of the Anza Society. We’re hoping community members will also participate,” said Saenz.

“We’re bringing people who are part of Adams State’s community onto campus, along with external speakers and exhibits, to tell the story of how impactful HSI initiatives can be.”

“Coach Joe I. Vigil started this program when little was known about coaching distance runners and now look at us.”

“At Adams State, I learned that everyone has something special to contribute, and that’s certainly true in my job now,” says Mortensen.
