Students or authorized users must pay in full or enroll in a payment plan each semester.

- Credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Discover) payments are made online using EBill. Credit card convenience fees are assessed at the rate of 3.89%. The convenience fee is not assessed if using an electronic check.
- Check or cash payments can be made at the cashier’s window located at the One Stop Student Services Center in the Student Union Building or mailed to Adams State University, 208 Edgemont Blvd. Suite 2050, Alamosa, CO 81101.
Late Charges
A $40 late charge is assessed when payment in full is not received OR payment arrangements are NOT completed by 4pm on the census date of the semester. Additional late charges of $10 per month are assessed if payment in full has not been received. There will also be a $10 late fee for payment plans that are not current.
Payment Plans
The number of payments in each plan varies by the date enrolled in the selected plan. Down payments are optional, but encouraged on all payment plans.
If the student is enrolled in a payment plan and payments are processed on schedule, students will be able to register for the upcoming semester.

- A $15 deferred payment fee per semester is assessed for a payment plan.
- Students set up a payment plan for the current semester online by logging into the Workday student account.
- If a payment plan is set up and current, the student will be allowed to register for future semesters.
- If a payment plan is not set up or is in default, the account must be paid in full to register for a subsequent semester.
Plan Options
- Pay once per month on the 1st of each month
- Pay once per month on the 15th of each month
- Pay twice per month on the 1st and 15th of each month
In order to begin automatic payments by the date above the plan must be established at least one day in advance. The earlier you can establish the agreement, the more payments (smaller) you have and the longer period you have to pay. Some payment plans may not be available after the recommended date to enroll. Enrolling in a payment plan early is recommended.
Examples: If your balance is $1000 for fall and you establish a monthly payment agreement by August 14, there would be 5 payments of $200. If an agreement is established on October 14 the plan would be a three payment plan $333.33 each payment.

Summer
If a student or authorized user chooses not to set up a payment plan by June 30th then charges for Summer must be paid in full by July 1.
If the student is enrolled in a payment plan and payments are processed on schedule, students will be able to register for the upcoming semester. If the student does not set up a payment plan, holds and late fees may be put on the account on July 2.
