As part of 1st Amendment Theatre, ASU students will present original pieces about censorship and freedom of speech.

Both the positive and negative effects of competition on ethics will be discussed.

Adams State will offer its trainings in the spring and will release additional information once the trainings are set up, said Renae Haslett, Adams State Director for Special Projects for Extended Studies.

The program will include selections from Mark Hayes Requiem, Ralph Vaughan Williams Dona Nobis Pacem, Paul Aitken’s setting of John McCrae’s famous poem, “In Flanders Fields,” and readings by John Taylor, Ph.D., Adams State professor of theatre, from the war poetry written by Wilfred Owen, a British soldier who died one week before the signing of the armistice.

Adams State is in partnership with the University of Colorado-Boulder and their Colorado European Union Center (CEUC).
