Adams State students must pass the appropriate PRAXIS II content exam by the seventh week of the fall or spring semester prior to student teaching. (The student is responsible for all fees and costs).
The Colorado Department of Education does require a passing score prior to an initial teaching license being issued. When registering for the Praxis content exam, designate Adams State University as a Recipient for your test score.

The Praxis® program continues to roll out Praxis tests by computer to provide candidates with increased convenience. Computer-delivered testing gives users access to an expanded network of more than 440 computerized test centers.
